But if I add protein and take away carbs (like fruit and chips-sheepish smile) I start to loose the weight.Arayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10476002905009544249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22157774.post-16616157651198168572010-05-07T13:43:42.638-05:002010-05-07T13:43:42.638-05:00I'm convinced it's the burn. Though if there was a fiery carbonated water, I'd sure give it a try. (I did get by on energy drink burn for a while, but I don't like the artificial sweeteners in them. Give me migraines.)Chaos-Jamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17643470959118675651noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22157774.post-76187994784142342572010-05-07T07:54:22.298-05:002010-05-07T07:54:22.298-05:00Could it be the carbonation that you want more tha...Could it be the carbonation that you want more than the specific Pepsi? We were just talking about that last night because we are stopping soda drinking, even though we barely drink it anyway. I always have water but every couple months just really want a soda. Anyway, in discussing this with Justin, I realized I want the carbonation more than anything. And there is carbonated water and stuff out there. So I'm going to give that a shot if/when my next urge hits and see what happens. If I find a good one, I'll let ya know!<br />You look fantastic by the way and those feelings of strong and accomplishment are priceless!Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07626602690697196378noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22157774.post-12355150155668242772010-05-06T15:39:33.196-05:002010-05-06T15:39:33.196-05:00Jamie---I started reading Jackie Warner's book...Jamie---I started reading Jackie Warner's book "This Is Why You're Fat" NOt because I think I'm obese or anything but because it gives some really great information. She has a really good section on the evils of sugar. I read it to C, but he's not completely convinced he should have to give it up yet.--STSTnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22157774.post-19527710349879240562010-05-06T10:09:03.195-05:002010-05-06T10:09:03.195-05:00Even if you do get off the soda pop (pepsi) it wil...Even if you do get off the soda pop (pepsi) it will be well worth it. That stuff (listen folks) is laced with sugar or artficial sweetner - worse than sugar and is killing our kids. Young and Old. Science won't say so now, but in 50 years, it will be common knowledge. Mrs. Sr and I gave up pop a year ago and she is maintaining her Good Looking Woman thing. I just can't find that darn coffee cup- I even looked on the bathroom ceiling (duh) Sr.Senior Citizennoreply@blogger.com
