Don't you love it when you realize you have a new friend and you really like them?
Sometimes people get thrown in your path and you have no choice but to spend time together and then one evening they are the only ones that show up and you have no trouble with conversation and laugh until your sides ache and it comes to mind, "Wow, that was fun. What a neat person."
It happens less and less as I get older and more entrenched in my ways, but it still happens.
I like that.
(Yes, Disney is still coming. I can't figure out how to get my photos uploaded off my new camera. And I can't decide what to write without photos.)

Would it be helpful if I took a digital card reader to you Tuesday - (get those pictures out of your camera) assuming of course that we can find that darn lost coffee cup - no way I could find you if I can't even find that coffee cup. Sr.
I have to say, I loved the title of this post. Mom always told us that little ditty about "Make new friends, but keep the old/One is silver, but the other gold"
Which is why I look ridiculous on FB with 400+ friends, but I took her advice ... :)
I'm supposed to upload software before I hook the camera to the computer. Can't find the software. can't find the warning that originally told me that. can't find the cabinet. and took the day off.
Lemon: Girl Scouts taught me that little ditty. My mom stuck to the "don't burn bridges" phraseology which leads to many surface friendships but not so many close ones. Not sure how healthy that is, but it makes for lots of "friends." :-)
I have a few golden friends and am working on a couple of silvers! I love when you get to the epiphany and realize this is a good friendship developing.
