In response to me when I said, "You are so indescribably cute," Charming said, "Yeah, that's right."

And, of course, on Saturday, when I was irritably driving through road construction and calling some very rude drivers Jerk....Charming piped up from the backseat "IDIOT!"

Now he thinks it's a joke. I don't know how to put a stop to it. It's hard when I'm laughing so hard.

It's genetic! When you could barely talk, the pastor was visiting and I asked you what that is - you said lamp. When I asked, what is that, you said fireplace. when I pointed to the ceiling and asked, you excitedly said (DAMM FLY ON CEILING)

Yep - it's genetic - got it from his Gramps. Now where on the ceiling can that darn coffee cup be.

It is hard with kids. You want them to be confident but not arrogant or rude. It is such a fine too. I guess you need to explain to him that some things can only be said by adults and some things should not be said aloud at all...lol. But yes, it is hard when you are cracking up.

My grandson, David Riley was reading over my shoulder as I read this. He said Charming sounds a lot like him. Truer words were never spoken!
